Dr. Julius is board certified in psychiatry and has additional board certification in addiction medicine. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health. She completed her residency training at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. After residency she worked as a National Public Health Service Scholar serving as medical director of a fully integrated behavioral health program in Atlantic City, NJ. Prior to joining the Red River team, Dr. Julius was a Deputy Chief Medical Officer for a behavioral health managed care plan serving over 600,000 Medicaid recipients in Philadelphia. She has a broad range of clinical experiences, including inpatient, outpatient, consultation-liaison, emergency psychiatry and addiction medicine treatment settings. She has been involved in the teaching and training of psychiatry residents for the past 8 years as a clinical supervisor and preceptor.
Dr. Julius is excited to bring her passions and skills in administrative psychiatry, clinical care and teaching to serving the communities in North Dakota and Minnesota.
