Angie Niffenegger
Director of Clinical Services

Angie joins Red River as a seasoned mental health and chemical dependency professional. Dually licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota, she has worked with all ages (infancy to adult) in in-home, county, school, inpatient, outpatient, day treatment, residential and detox settings.

In April 2018, Angie transitioned to Red River from a Meridian Behavioral Health sister facility, Douglas Place, located in East Grand Forks, MN. In the 3 years she was at Douglas Place, Angie’s exemplary performance resulted in promotions from mental health professional to clinical supervisor to clinical director.

As Director of Clinical Services for Red River, Angie provides direct and indirect supervision of all therapy, social services, occupational therapy and chemical dependency departments in promotion of best practice and quality of care. Her patient-centered approach, dedication to service excellence and clinical expertise help drive positive patient experiences from admission to discharge throughout all areas of the hospital.

Bachelor’s Degree: Double Major in Social Work & Chemical Dependency, Minor in Sociology, Bemidji State University, Bemidji, MN
